EVENTS - UPCOMING:
- June 13th Wednesday: inter-council networking event at Ritz-Carlton, DIFC, 6:30 pm

- National Day of Russia - June 12th - this is one of the new state holidays of Russia and is a day off back home

- Weekend family gathering and bowling tournament by Russian Emirates has gathered dozens of Russian speakers and their guests in hospitable Ajman Kempinski on June 1st.

- Literature evening – a poet competition
The Russian Embassy in the UAE supported by the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots have organized the poetry competition. Following the Day of Slavic Written Language and Culture, the award ceremony of the literary contest was held on May 25th. Congratulation to the winners: 1st place - Anna Krukovskaya, 2nd - Elena Balina, 3rd - Irina Soluyanova and Inna Badr.
APPOINTMENTS:
- Chairman of RBC Dr. Igor Egorov has been elected as Chairman of Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots' Organizations in the UAE.
- General Secretary of RBC Mr. Serghey Tokarev has been elected as representative of the Regional Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots' Organizations for the Middle East and Africa in the Global Council of Russian Compatriots.
- Chairman of Al Aroud Group Mr. Saleh Al Aroud has been appointed by RBC Board as a new Board member in capacity of the Head of Government Relations Commission.
